Previous iterations haven’t fared to well. The 3DS meanwhile receives two new indie releases – Japanese shape slicing puzzler Slice It! (£3.98) and Glory of Generals: The Pacific (£5.59), the latest instalment in Circle’s strategy series. You’d be better off buying a physical copy – currently £17.35 on Amazon, new – and shoving that in your console. The magnificent Super Mario Galaxy also arrives on Wii U VC this Thursday, albeit for a slightly hard to swallow £17.99. As well as having to look after the place, you also have to put up with two long departed Indian chieftains. You play as a restaurant employee forced to work a month of graveyard shifts, with the joke being that the diner is built on an ancient Indian burial ground. There’s also Joe’s Diner (£5.99), an intriguing arcade adventure. As much as we’d like to think that all previous faults and issues have now been fixed, we very much doubt this will be the case. Reviews of the console versions were mostly around the 6/10 mark due to a lack of polish and bizarre design choices. This Wii U conversion appears to be its last stop. First released on PC in 2013, it slipped under the radar and onto PS3 and PS Vita late last year. The Wii U also sees an unexpected release this week, in the form of turn-based strategy game Space Hulk (£24.99).
